After your Advanced and a few fun dives you might want to do some more challenging dives maybe in a more demanding environment, then the possibility that a problem might accure to you or your buddy will encreace and that is the time it would be better to know how to handle rescue situations. Starting from simple skills such as how to handle a cramp in your buddys leg or all the way how to manage a whole rescue scenario. Rescue diver course will teach you all of this, and it’s maybe the most fun of the courses.

Course structure: Rescue Diver video, 4 academic sessions and exams+final exam, Inwater training 5 sessions

Minimum age: 15
Minimum age: 12 (Junior Rescue Diver)
Minimum training: PADI Advanced Open Water or qualifying rating (CMAS 2) / SSI Stress and Rescue course you can take right after SSI Open Water Diver course.
Recommended time: 3 to 4 days
