KOH TAO:
We organise daily divetrips around Koh Tao.
AM: Morning trip starts at 07:00.
PM: Afternoon trip starts at 13:00
NIGHT: Departure from our shop at 18:00,every other night
We leave straight from Sairee beach to our diving boat, so no hustle with the crowds in the harbour or carrying tanks through 5 other boats… =)
On both trips you can do 2 dives, snorkel (free dive) and play minigolf on our sun deck and enjoy soft drinks with relaxed tunes
It is recommended to book in day before and come to the shop half an hour before
SIMILAN LIVE-ABOARDS:
We do three differents live-aboards to west coast of Thailand. On every trip we dive the famous Richelieu Rock and depending of the trip, the Similans, Koh Tachai, Koh Bon and Surin Islands.
Our vessel (boat) leaves from Ranong, where we do together straight from Koh Tao.
BURMA LIVEABORDS:
We also organise three different live-aboard trips to Myanmar (formaly known as Burma).
On these ttrips we brin you to Merqui Archipelagoand and Burma Banks. Divesites and the nature over here are outstanding. Myanmar’s untouched Archipelago was opened, to just a few diveboats, less than 10 years ago. If you hae not heard about Merqui Achipelago or Burma Banks, it’s because only the fortuned few have been there!

Burma is relatively new area for live-aboard dive trips. Since so few operators are allowed in the area, new divesites are found and cognitions are made frequently, which motivates us to continue looking for all things new and unseen! Underwater world is full and busyy with a big variaty of different reef fishes, barracudas, jackfishes and giant trevallies. Some divesites further from the mainland create a possibility to see whalesharks and mantarays, whereas more sheltered divesites can be crowded by nudibranches, seahorses and other small creatures to practice your underwater cameraskills. After lunch it might be time to get back to watching different species of sharks hunting in big schools of fishes. Enormous contrasts between divesites within such a small geological area lead Burmam to being undoubtedly one of the world’s most interesting places for diving. Visitors preferring to stay on the surface can enjoy variety of perfect, untouched beaches.
For those of you who don’t (yet) dive, a trip to Burmaoffers several other activities which don’t interfere with diver’s schedules. Paddling is one the vest ways to explore shores and caves or those hundreds of islands. You can find a privat, isolated beach for pure relaxing or climb to the top of high lava stone (maybe limestone?) walls to admire the view, or hike deep into the unexplored jugles to survey the unique flora and fauna of Burma. Who knows, while hiking you might even face a wild elephant or tiger which are said to be extinct from most areas.
Due to occasionally strong currents (especially at full and new moon) majority of divesites in Burma require experience from divers. If you are uncertain about your diving skills of uncomfortable with currents, plan your trip considering this. On the other hand, with currents you get the best chance to see big things!
Burmese government charges an entry fee from all those who enter Merqui archipelago. The complete fee is $ 150 US, and it can be payed at the Burmese borderline. You will also need 3 passport photos and 3 copies of your passport. Visa is admitted at the borderline and it is valid for 28 days for most nationalities. In any case you will leave and enter Thailand, so be sure that your visa for Thailand is suitable for that. During your stay in Burma the Burmese government will hold your passport. We are aware of this uncomfortable procedure and apologize for it.
Since 2006 we expanded our activities to cover the world famous divesites in west coast of Thailand and only recently re-opened Burma banks, the Merqui archipelago. As the only Finnish diveshop we organize live-aboards trips to these worldclass divesites directly from Koh Tao.
Trips start on a night ferry from Koh Tao to Chumporn, where a minibus is waiting to take us to Ranong, west coast of Thailand. In the future, we hope to cover this distance by a hydroplane. In Ranong we board our brand new live-aboard boat, Seaworld I, which takes us safely all the way from famous Similans to untouched divesites in Burma.
Trips can also be started from Koh Payam, which is a hidden paradise island next to Burmese borderline. More information on Koh Payam and Koh Payam Divers you find from kohpayamdivers.com) Check out our divesite maps on Similan islands.
Since Koh Tao is more than Sairee beach where the diveshop is located, we organize daytrips around the whole island. During the trip we dive where we like, stop on calm palmtree beaches, enjoy a thai-lunch on a beach restaurant and the bravest ones can even snorkel with sharksΓΒ’Γ’βΒ¬ΓΒ¦
