SSI Extended Range

Life Begins at 45 m, Extend Your Range

We know, 40 metres is not enough. Some of the best wrecks and most amazing sites are below the recreational range, and you need technical diving gear as well as knowledge and skills to reach them.

The Extended Range program qualifies you to dive to 45 metres using nitrox mixes up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression times. You learn to plan and execute up to 25 minutes of decompression using one stage decompression gas. The programme can only be completed wearing specialized technical diving equipment. The training can be conducted using air or limited Trimix.

Koh Tao Tech Divers offers rental gear as part of the course, so you don't have to worry about getting all of the specialised equipment at first!

Who can take this course?
- Minimum age 18 years
- Deep Diver specialty diver
- Enriched air nitrox diver
- 50 or more dives
- Have a current medical examamination for scuba diving and signed medical questionnaire
