SSI Cavern Diving

The Cavern Diving course will teach you how to plan and perform limited penetration dives within the light zone of a cavern to a maximum depth of 40m. You will learn overhead buoyancy and propulsion skills, use of navigation lines and how to react to the unique hazards present in cavern environments. The course can be completed wearing a single-cylinder with either a pony cylinder or H/Y valve, sidemount or a twin set configuration.

All our courses are conducted by experienced technical diving instructors and instructor trainers. Our facilities are located 50m from the ocean, where we do our initial confined water training. Your open water training dives will be conducted from our dive boat on the many dive sites around Koh Tao.

Who can take this course?
- Minimum age 18 years
- Advanced Open Water Diver certification & 24 logged dives
- Have a current medical examamination for scuba diving and signed medical questionnaire
