Must be certified in open circuit technical diving
Must have completed dives recently
Must have your own dive insurance
Must provide a valid medical certificate (within the last year)

Health

Completing a medical questionnaire is mandatory for all diving courses to ensure your fitness for advanced diving activities. You are required to consult a physician and obtain medical clearance before participating.

The course includes basic accident insurance provided by Koh Tao Divers, covering accidents during our dive trips (valid for 30 days). However, it's important to note that this insurance does not cover everything - evacuation costs are not included, and the coverage is limited compared to broader plans like those offered by Dive Assure.

Day program

Morning Dives

Are recommended for deep dives (up to 45 meters), with a maximum of 1 hour per dive.
Longer morning dives can be arranged upon request.*

Afternoon dives

Are ideal for dives longer than 1 hour, with a maximum depth of 20 meters.

Note: Schedule may vary due to weather and logistical considerations.

Included Insurance for Koh Tao Divers Customers

Your included basic insurance provides

Accident Coverage
- Up to 1,000,000 THB for loss of life, dismemberment, loss of sight, or permanent disability.
Medical Expenses
- Coverage of up to 500,000 THB per person for each accident, including hyperbaric chamber treatments for diving accidents.
Exclusions
- Evacuation costs are not included.
Reimbursement Process
- Patients must pay treatment costs upfront, and the insurance company will reimburse within 2-3 weeks.
