The SSI Technical XR programme qualifies you to dive to 50 or 60 metres using nitrox mixes up to 100% oxygen, and to do unlimited decompression using two stage decompression gases. The programme can only be completed using specialized technical diving equipment. The training can be conducted using air or limited Trimix.

You will learn to plan and execute accelerated multi-gas decompression dives. This allows you to stay deeper for longer, explore more, and use the full technical diving equipment set.

Who can take this course?
- Minimum age 18 years
- Science of diving certified
- Diver Stress and Rescue certified
- Extended Range certified
- 70 or more dives, (20 deeper than 30m and 10 staged decompression)
- Have a current medical examamination for scuba diving not older than 1 year and signed by a licensed medical practitioner medical questionnaire
